CURRICULUM
Pre Primary classes (Nursery, LKG, UKG) :
The Pre-Primary curriculum is designed to foster holistic development in children through a diverse range of activities. Language and literacy skills are nurtured from pre-writing stages to effective communication, while numeracy development covers pre-number concepts, shapes, and quantities. General awareness introduces children to topics such as family, community, and the world around them, including road safety and healthy habits. Physical development is supported through outdoor play and motor skill activities, while socio-emotional growth is encouraged via role play, circle time, and “show and tell.” Cognitive development is promoted through self-directed learning experiences, and creativity is explored through art and craft activities like finger printing and recycling. Additionally, events and celebrations offer platforms for children to showcase their talents.
Assessment for the Pre-Primary section is done in a continuous and comprehensive way during normal classroom activities. It’s a ongoing process which involves the teacher, peers and student himself or herself. It is aimed at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of a child and ways to overcome the weaknesses.
